Ben's WX Summary
- Updated: Saturday @ 11:41am
Low pressure sitting over Northern Baja is drawing wrap-around moisture into the area, with showers continuing out there. We did receive a couple more inches of snow overnight, with little additional accumulation expected today. Rain and snow showers will taper this afternoon as low pressure finally exits the area with the sno wlevel hovering around 7,000 feet. Cold and breezy with highs in the mid to upper 30s, east winds gusting 10-20 mph at times. Skies will clear tonight with light winds as lows drop into the 20s. Mostly sunny skies will return tomorrow with some minor warming as temperatures reach the lower 40s, east-northeast winds 5-15 mph. High pressure aloft will strengthen through next week, leading to drier conditions and near-normal temperatures for the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend! I don't see anything else on radar until possibly around the first of the month, so it looks like we'll remain dry for a little while, a nice chance to dry out after record rainfall across Southern California! If traveling into the mountains this weekend, be prepared for winter weather driving and always carry chains!
